We are in a fight for our freedoms and our futures. 

The MAGA regime is trying to whitewash our history so they can whitewash our country. 

Already they have: 

  • scrubbed websites of Black leaders who have fought enslavement and advanced civil and LGBTQ rights

  • attacked museums that tell the truth about America’s history,

  • and pressured universities to whitewash their curriculum and enrollment. 

Their segregationist agenda is not just an attempt to erase the movements that fought to advance freedom and equality, but also an effort to take away our hard-won civil rights, minimize and reinforce longstanding inequalities, and stop us from repairing the harm done across the country. 

We Are Fighting for our Rights and for Our Ancestors

 This Pride Month, this Juneteenth, and this 4th of July, we are taking public action to honor our movement legacy, defend our hard-won freedoms, and continue the work of making equality real by fully reckoning with the ongoing harms from our past.

We cannot let them erase the movements or the wins of our ancestors. 

They want to drag us backwards, but we are too hot for a fascist future.
